The spirit of Clover is simple: You don't have to spend big ones to dress your little ones fashionably. Opened in 2010 by the owners of the grown-up stores Ashby and Clementine, Clover sells consignment clothing from such well-known brands as Janie and Jack, Lilly Pulitzer and Stride Rite. After outgrowing its old location across from Clementine, Clover moved up the street last summer to more spacious digs. Co-owners Jane Crooks and Lyn Savedge Page have worked to make their shop parent-friendly, with movies and toys to keep fidgety children occupied and wide aisles for strollers. Buttons and Bows has dressed Richmond children well for nearly 30 years. Once Upon a Child is the largest retailer of used clothing for kids in the country, and its two stores in the Richmond area offer great deals to dress your growing children.
