So when Mosaic Unique Events concocted a “Wizard of Oz” gala for the American Heart Association’s Richmond Heart Ball this month, desserts descended from hot-air balloons and the crowd was transported into a state of beneficence. The dinner raised record money for heart health and a higher profile for a caterer that’s busier than ever.
