Dildos. Hundreds of silicone dildos. And glass dildos. And plastic dildos. They come in all different sizes, shapes and colors — from a jet-black version to models called the Average Joe. The array at adult novelty store Taboo's new Midlothian shop is, to put it mildly, daunting. But apparently that's the way Richmond likes it. "We've just been getting busier and busier," says owner Alison Barber, who notes that all her shops — the other locations are in the West End and Short Pump — also carry DVDs, bondage gear, blow-up dolls and exotic lingerie. Priscilla McCall's carries novelties as well, but focuses on lingerie. A newcomer to the area, Adam & Eve, opened in Mechanicsville late last year.
