Apex Fun Run Promotes Coates Disease Awareness with a Glow Run

When: Thu., Aug. 17, 6-8 p.m. 2017

When a child has Coates Disease, he or she has a glow in his or her eye. A glow run serves as the perfect reminder and representation of the disease. The first glow run was held at Elizabeth Scott Elementary when Elke Gibbs reached out to Apex Fun Run. Elke Gibbs is the mother of Jaxon Gibbs, who has Coates Disease. Jaxon had a great time at the event, so Apex Fun Run partnered with YMCA to host another one.

Price: Free.
