In conjunction with our cover story, “Richmond's Most Hideous Buildings” (Jan. 14), we asked our Twitter feed followers which buildings they'd choose. Here are some of the replies that poured in:
ellummoxo: The Richmond Convention Center. It looks like every mall in America. Antitecture.
gatewood5000: that building at the northeast corner of Seventh and Main. A real hole. Used to work there when the AP had its offices there.
chicarmoire: the new medical arts bld at HDH on Forrest and Discovery. Ugly brick.
Sleaze: St Luke Building, Richmond Coliseum, any thing on Broad Street or owned by RRHA.
mollybuckley: I would pick that wrinkled metal-spaceship-looking thing on Broad St. in Willow Lawn. that thing is hideous.
danaynay: That thing that looks like a crumpled foil wad near Willow Lawn...yet I kinda love it.
