A title like “5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche” is bound to get attention. It’s even better when you have a fiendishly funny play to back up such a moniker. Such is the show-business pot of gold that is Richmond Triangle Players’ wicked comedy by Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood. The play is set in the Cold War ’50s, with the self-described widows of the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein in a fevered state about communism at their annual quiche breakfast. Best of all, audience members will be active participants in the Dexter Ramey-directed exploration of all things absurd and hilarious. “5 Lesbians Eating Quiche,” starring Amy Berlin, Jennifer Frank Clevenger, Maggie Bavolack, Danielle Williams and Liz Earnest, opens Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. Shows run Thursday-Sunday through March 14.
