With frontman Joe King serving as its adolescent constant, New Hampshire-based punk revivalists the Queers have spent the better part of three decades sitting in the back of the class doing everything in their power to not pay attention. Blending the simplistic power-chord drubbing of the Ramones with flourishes of Beach Boys pop charm, the Queers' bread and butter has always been the topics of reckless abandon — where girls, getting blitzed and partying are all that truly matter. With a steady stream of reissues during the past several years, including their pivotal 1993 album, “Love Songs for the Retarded,” the Queers are scheduled to perform at the Camel on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. $10.
