With his comedic synapses often firing in his brain so fast his mouth can't keep up, Robin Williams is a man of endless energy. Six years since his critically acclaimed stand-up tour in 2002, the award-winning actor and comedian takes to the stage again with his Weapons of Self-Destruction tour. With material sure to stem from the presidential campaign (“election year … is basically Christmas for stand-up comics,” Williams has said), social rifts and his own personal experiences during the past several years, it'll be interesting to see if he vibrates through the floor or if the years and the lack of small mountains of drugs have mellowed him out. Williams brings his improvised set pieces to the Landmark Theater Thursday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $70-$400. Call 262-8100 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.
