"A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine" The Henrico Theatre Company presents two one-act plays, the first a revue of classic Hollywood songs, and the second a Marx Brothers-inspired comedy beginning July 10 at 8 p.m. at Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. "Busytown" Stage 1 Theatre Company continues its summer youth shows presenting a family-friendly production that follows the misadventures of author Richard Scarry's fictional neighborhood. "Arsenic and Old Lace" Swift Creek Mill Theatre presents this world-famous comedy about two seemingly sweet old ladies who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously unacceptable roomers. "Summer of '42" Stage 1 Theatre Company presents the Richmond premiere of a musical of the 1971 Oscar-winning film about a young boy, Hermie, and his friends Oscy and Benjie. They're vacationing on Nantucket, looking to achieve their first sexual encounters.
