Several years ago we asked Style Weekly's photographers to venture into the city to capture the places, moments and people that are rarely seen. They came back with a visual spectrum of Richmond, places most people never go or scenes that only get a passing glance in the rush of the day.
During the month of October we turned that assignment around to readers who use the social networking service Instagram to share photos. The submissions came tumbling in.
