Glen Matlock’s Acoustic Anarchy Tour at Capital Ale House

Saturday, April 6, at 9 p.m. $13-$15.

Glen Matlock has performed with new wave bands such as the Rich Kids and Vicious White Kids, but is best known for his work with the iconic punk band the Sex Pistols, responsible for such well-known songs as “Anarchy in the U.K.” and “God Save the Queen.” Matlock now plays with numerous projects, including Slinky Vagabond and the Faces. The Acoustic Anarchy Tour will feature Matlock and company performing stripped-down versions of their classic songs. The Ramones’ Tommy Ramone originally was scheduled to perform, but because of health issues had to cancel. Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls will take Ramone’s place and Gwar’s Dave Brockie also will join the show. The Acoustic Anarchy Tour takes place at Capital Ale House on Saturday, April 6, at 9 p.m. $13-$15.
