Ever have someone tell you that they saw a person who looks just like you? Ever imagine you would assume that person's life to appease a dying member of their family? Haven't we all, like Ira Levin (author of "Rosemary's Baby"), considered this possibility? The Chamberlayne Actors Theatre production of Levin's "Veronica's Room" does too, a thriller about an elderly couple who persuades a young woman to pretend to be the dead sister of their employer. The young lady agrees to the strange request and things become ... complicated. The show opens Wednesday, May 28, at 8 p.m. Through June 14. 319 N. Wilkinson Road. Tickets are $15-$20. Reservations required. 262-9760. -- C.B.
