Culture at Toad's Place

As the Marley and Tosh children have continued the musical legacy of their fathers, Bob and Peter, so too is Kenyatta Hill, son of the leader of the legendary reggae band Culture, following in the footsteps of his father, Joseph. But unlike the seed of the Wailers, who started their own bands, Kenyatta Hill joined his father's group after Joseph died in 2006 while on tour in Europe. Kenyatta, who sounds much like his father, completed the remaining shows after his father's death and hasn't stopped singing. Culture comes to Toad's Place on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 8 p.m. $10-$15. 648-TOAD.
