Bedford Falls may be a small town — and an entirely fictional one at that — but it quickly becomes a much bigger place when you watch one man attempt to play the part of its every citizen. In an ambitious reimagining of Frank Capra's iconic 1946 film, “It's a Wonderful Life,” actor Scott Wichmann performs a one-man show at the Barksdale Theatre at Willow Lawn, portraying every character from the beloved Christmas tale in “This Wonderful Life.” From the despondent George Bailey to the angel in training, Clarence Odbody, to the miserable and heartless Mr. Potter, this unintentionally economic production brings a healthy level of schizophrenia and humor to an otherwise overly sentimental story. Performances at 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday and select Wednesdays; 2 p.m. Sundays. Through Jan. 11. $32-$38.
