Working in small sections while the oil is wet on a large canvas, Leigh Wen uses a stylus to carve images of the elements. The result: "Flow," a collection of textured artworks representing earth, air, wind and water. Wen's art ranges from ceiling-to-floor pieces (about 10 feet tall) to medium and small works (about a foot high). The largest of her works on display took five months and the tedious use of a ladder to complete. This particular piece, "Water Mural," (pictured) will be on display as part of the collection at Red Door Gallery through Dec. 30. 1607 W. Main St. 358-0211.
