Second Place: Akida Japanese Restaurant
Third Place: Osaka Sushi & Steak
Sticky Rice goes through a boatload of fresh fish every week — and it isn't just because people flock to the karaoke, Blingo and Piko. OK, maybe it partly is. But with rolls such as shiitake happens and Godzirra, the kitchen also attracts fans of well-executed and creatively named sushi. And that bucket of tater tots seems bottomless. Akida attracts the sushi and sashimi-obsessed, along with the thrifty who appreciate the little restaurant that reliably puts out top-notch Japanese cuisine. Osaka is date-night sushi, boasting the loveliest dining room of the three and one of the best sake lists in town.
