Whether you'd like to admit it or not, there's a certain level of freedom that comes with being completely out of your gourd. Ken Kesey's “One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,” following the rebellious antics of patient Randall McMurphy and his liberating influence on the inhabitants of an Oregon mental institution, is drawn from Kesey's experiences working the graveyard shift as an orderly at a mental health facility, has celebrated the humanity of the clinically insane for more than four decades. Following the lead of the 1963 Broadway play and the 1975 film adaptation, the Henley Street Theatre Company unveils its own unique production with performances on Fridays and Saturdays through Jan. 31 at Pine Camp Arts & Community Center. $10-$20. 340-0115. — Mike Hilleary
